What's Learnt in the Cradle

Release date: August 15th, 1984.

My purchase date: 1985, probably.

I still know all the lyrics.

p.s. I'm waiting to get all the desert pix to post along with my desert tales. When those are all available, I'll reveal the secrets of the Texas mountains.

Ride the Lightning... Always a classic. Not sure if I remember all the words, but I bet I could do a decent job between this album, Master of Puppets, and Justice for All. Fade to Black is still an anthem to ever depressed Metalhead I ever met.

Am I a bad person because I just never got all that excited about Metallica (and, for giggles, let's couple that with the fact that the first album I ever bought was INXS's "Kick")?

DEFinitely, Aza!

I hope to eventually get them, Random Moments. The trouble is, my traveling pal has them and has been busy working. I'll bug her soon tho!

Nah, to each her own, Amanda. Personally, I can't listen to INXS without thinking of autoerotic asphyxiation, though.

My college roommate knew all their songs on guitar. I got sick of them real fast, but I have revisited them of late, and I can enjoy them now with a bit of distance.

That happens, Camplin, with any overenjoyed thing, I find. There are songs I immediately skip because I'm up to my repeated listening quota on them until about 2017 or so.
